Promo Duration: May 14 – June 20, 2022 

Who can join the promo?  

• Promo is open to all The Marketplace customers who are 18 years old and above and purchase a minimum single receipt of Php 5,000 with Php 1,000 worth of participating items within the promo period from May 14 – June 20, 2022. 
• The owner, management, and employees of The Marketplace, their advertising agencies, spouse, and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from joining this promotion. 

How to join, register, and send entries?   

• Customers must have a minimum single-receipt purchase of Php 5,000.00 with Php1,000 worth of participating items.   
  
• Applicable on regular straight transactions using cash, debit card, and credit card that is contactless-enabled.  
• Promo is not applicable to any e-commerce site.  
• A customer is entitled to one (1) e-raffle entry for every Php 5,000.00 spent with Php 1,000 worth of participating items. 
  
• A promo code will be provided to the customer on the official receipt of the participating The Marketplace outlets. 
  
• The customer must visit backtoschool.themarketplace.com.ph  or scan the QR code in the Customer Service area to register their personal identifiable details and the promo code.

How did you know about the promo 

• The customer’s info is now registered. The mobile number will serve as the log-in assets of the customer for future transactions. 
  
• Once registered, a customer may submit multiple promo codes for more chances of winning.  
  
• If the promo code is valid, the system will display the customer’s earned raffle entries.  
  
• Only one registration per mobile number is allowed. 
  
• The promo cannot be availed in conjunction with other promotions. 
  

Determination of Winners/Prizes: 

• This promo will have a total of three (3) winners of IPad Mini 6 and one (1) winner of Macbook Air 
  
• Only the customers with VALID and INPUTTED promo codes are qualified to be chosen for the raffle. The more entries sent the more chances of winning. 
  
• Customers may only win once.  
  
• The deadline for submission of entries is on June 20, 2022, at 9:00 PM. 
  

When and where will the Grand Raffle Draw Happen?

Notifying Winners 

• Winners will be notified through their registered email/mailing address and a phone call by a representative of The Marketplace. 

Claiming of Prizes 

• Upon claiming his/her prize, the winner must present the grocery receipt from The Marketplace (with the Target Message located below the receipt), registered notice together with two (2) valid forms of identification or government-issued I.D., including Driver’s License, SSS I.D., Passport, Birth Certificate, TIN Card and a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) bearing the full name mentioned in the entry of winning coupon. 
  
• The winners who cannot claim his/her prize personally must provide his/her representative with a letter of authorization and other necessary identifications (i.e. driver’s license, passport, SSS, TIN, voter’s ID, etc.) when claiming the prize on his/her behalf. 
  
• For Metro Manila winners, claiming of prizes is at The Marketplace Head Office at Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. Building, 110 Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Ave, Bagumbayan, Quezon City, 1110 Metro Manila, from Monday to Friday at 10AM to 4PM only. 
  
• For winners outside of Metro Manila, claiming prizes is at the nearest The Marketplace outlet as stated in the receipt submitted, from Monday to Sunday at 10AM to 6PM only. 
  
• In the event that winners cannot present the winning receipt, the winner needs to execute a duly notarized affidavit of loss. A 60-day waiting period shall be imposed as soon as the affidavit is submitted to The Marketplace in order to ensure the veracity of the claim. 
  
• The prize is transferable but not convertible to cash or any other item. Prizes may be transferred to whoever the winner wishes to nominate, as long as the nominated is able to satisfy the requirements for the claiming of the prize. (refer to T&C: p) 
  
• Redemption of prizes shall be within 60 days from the receipt of the registered notice; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited in favor of The Marketplace with prior approval of DTI. 
  
• The Marketplace shall shoulder the 20% prize tax for the prizes exceeding P10,000.00. 
  
• The owner, management, and employees of The Marketplace, their advertising agencies, spouses, and relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining this promotion. 
  
• Announcements of winners will be posted on The Marketplace's social media accounts. The winners should agree for their photos to be taken for purposes of posting on the social media accounts of The Marketplace. 
  

Control Measure 

DTI representatives shall be invited to check, test, validate, and verify the computer system for receiving entries and registration, assigning random computer-generated raffle entries, and drawing of winners. A copy of the said system shall be sealed in an envelope and signed by the DTI representative for safekeeping of Megamobile, for verification of DTI at any time. A printed copy of the properties of the program shall be given to the DTI representative after verification. The DTI representative shall check the database of the promo.
