5-minute Life Saver

Casale Paradiso's truffle pasta is intoxicatingly fragrant, dangerously easy to make, and seriously addictive. All you need is 1 liter of boiling water, a bit of oil, sea salt, and 5 minutes of your time.

Ingredients:
  • 1 pack Casale Paradiso Truffle Pasta
  • 1 liter water
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • ½ stick butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp of Filotei’s Salsa al Tartufo
  • Parmigiano-Reggiano
    (you can also use Gruyere)
Procedure:
  1. Boil 1 liter of water, olive oil, and add a teeny bit of salt (don’t add too much because you’ll be adding cheese later on).
  2. Once the water boils, add the pasta. Stir every minute. If the pasta absorbs too much water after the 3-minute mark, splash a bit more water.
  3. After the 4-minute mark, add butter and heavy cream. Mix ever so gently as the pasta has tendency to break.
  4. Turn off the heat after 5 minutes. Toss with Filotei’s Salsa al Tartufo. Grate a generous amount of Parmigiano-Reggiano and sprinkle a little bit of of freshly cracked black pepper.
  5. Serve!

Here are three ways to brighten up you mornings!

Herbed Sunny Side Up

Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. spring onions
  • 2 tbsp. shredded mozzarella
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 slices toasted bread
Procedure:
  1. Separate egg yolks from egg whites in three bowls (2 for egg yolks, 1 for egg whites).
  2. In a bowl, mix egg whites with spring onions, mozzarella, salt, & pepper.
  3. In a nonstick pan, add oil & add half of the egg white mixture.
  4. Gently put the yolk on the center of the egg white & cook.
  5. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining egg white & yolk.
  6. Sprinkle eggs with salt & pepper. Serve with toast.
